You know I didn’t mean to hurt you when I said that I know that you think you look better with the lights off and magazines all make you feel like breathing Lysol. You stay inside so they don’t see you in a t-shirt and you pretend that you’re okay with wearing short skirts. And you don’t get why you can’t look like in the moves - don’t understand why you were born to be a groupie. And skinny friends, they get it all without a question while you’re alone and everyone just keeps you guessing. And kids are mean when they decide that you’re not like them ‘cuz you don’t act or speak and sound exactly like them. As if your image wouldn’t ever be an issue, ‘cuz if you left you know that no one there would miss you. You’ll never be a centerfold or on a billboard, but why the hell is that what anybody works for. So quit pretending that you’re anybody else now. So quite pretending that you’re anybody else now.
